About / Zevaryn Systems

Built differently. Built around you.

Zevaryn Systems is a Washington, DC-based web development and technology company creating custom websites, digital experiences, and business tools around the way organizations actually work.

Technology should adapt to the business — not force the business to adapt to the technology.

Company Introduction

We build around the problem.

Zevaryn Systems began with hands-on web design and development, and a simple idea: a business shouldn't have to settle for a generic digital solution when its needs are genuinely different.

Every project starts by understanding the organization, its audience, its goals, its workflow, and the actual problem being solved. Design and development follow from that understanding — not the other way around.

  • The organization
  • Its audience
  • Its goals
  • Its workflow
  • The problem
Why Zevaryn?

The space between a template and an agency.

Plenty of small businesses and organizations need something more personal than a template — but they don't need a large development agency, and shouldn't have to pay for one.

Zevaryn Systems exists in that space.

  • Custom work

Built for your business, not adapted from someone else's.

  • Clear communication

You always know what's being built, and why it matters.

  • Approachable development

Work directly with the person building the solution.

  • Thoughtful design

Visual choices that serve the message — not decoration for its own sake.

  • Right-sized solutions

Appropriate to what your organization actually needs today.

Mission

Technology with a purpose.

Zevaryn Systems builds purposeful digital solutions that help businesses communicate clearly, operate more effectively, and create stronger experiences for the people they serve.

Every page, feature, animation, integration, and system should have a reason to exist.

How We Build

A consistent way of working.

The same approach runs through every project, whether it's a three-page website or a custom internal tool.

  1. 01

    Listen first

Understand the business before deciding what to build.

  2. 02

    Design with purpose

Visual decisions should support the brand, the message, and the user experience.

  3. 03

    Build for real use

Responsive layouts, accessibility considerations, testing, performance, and maintainability all matter.

  4. 04

    Stay involved

Launch isn't necessarily the end — ongoing support and future improvements are available.

What We Value

Six things that don't change.

01

Custom by default

Start from the client's actual needs instead of forcing everything into the same template.

02

Clear communication

Clients should understand what is being built, why, and what comes next.

03

Built with purpose

Features should solve a problem or improve the experience.

04

Quality over shortcuts

Thoughtful structure, testing, responsiveness, and maintainability matter.

05

Always learning

Technology changes constantly, and improvement is part of the work.

06

Human approach

Every project involves real people, real organizations, and real goals.

The Founder
Adam Pherigo, Founder & Developer of Zevaryn Systems

Adam Pherigo

Founder & Developer

Adam built Zevaryn Systems out of a growing interest in web development, software, design, and solving practical problems with technology.

Hands-on project work led to the idea of a company that could provide custom websites — and, over time, broader business tools — without losing the personal approach of working directly with the person building the solution.

“I wanted to build a company where technology starts with the person or business that actually needs it.”
Where Zevaryn Is Going

Building beyond the website.

Web development is at the center of Zevaryn Systems today.

Over time, the company is also developing reusable business tools and software systems — shaped by problems discovered through real client work rather than invented in a vacuum.

  • Event management
  • Administrative tools
  • Scheduling & workflow tools
  • Inventory tools
  • Business dashboards
  • Custom integrations

These are directions, not finished products — and there are no launch dates to promise.

  1. Step 01Start with the problem.
  2. Step 02Build what is useful.
  3. Step 03Expand when there is a reason.
